Frequently asked questions
Do I need a reference voice?
No, you can use the default voice. Uploading a short reference gets tone and rhythm closer to your real voice or reference audio.
Can I re-render only part of a script?
Yes. We hash each chunk; only changed lines render again if a full job is re-enqueued. Alternatively; you can manually edit on a per-chunk basis.
Where are files stored?
VoiceScript stores renders in an encrypted S3 bucket with object versioning. Each dated version lives for 7 days before auto-pruning, and you can delete any file instantly from the app.
